Bolero Gravel Series 2026
The beautiful surroundings in and around Turnhout once again set the stage for the season opener of the Bolero Gravel Series.. On Sunday, March 22, the city of Turnhout welcomes us for the second edition of Turnhout Gravel, an official qualifier for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup, Australia. With both start and finish in Turnhout, riders can expect a top-tier course that embodies the soul of the Kempen region: endless sandy tracks, wide forest paths, and open field sections where the true gravel spirit comes alive. Expect “champagne gravel” once more on phenomenal routes through the stunning nature in and around Turnhout!
At the start of summer, on Saturday, June 6, we proudly present the Bolero Great Gravel, a challenging yet stunning ultra-ride of 333 km across Belgium: from the salty sea breeze to the rugged Ardennes heights — or the other way around! You choose where your adventure begins. For those who feel the full 333 km is a stretch too far, there is an option to start in the center of the country, in the Leuven region. From there, a shorter but still demanding route of about 165 km awaits, either towards the coast or towards the Ardennes. Mark this date in your calendar! More info coming soon.
Next stop: Dwars door het Hageland Gravel on Saturday, June 13 in Diest. On the same day the pros battle it out, you’ll have the unique opportunity to fly over the very same legendary gravel sectors in the morning. We’ll guide you along the finest and most characteristic gravel terrain the Hageland has to offer, including those mythical stretches where the pro peloton will thunder past later in the day. In the afternoon, you can cheer on the pros as they launch their finale on the Citadel of Diest. An unforgettable cycling morning, followed by an epic afternoon along the course!
The Bolero Gravel Series conclude in style with the Flanders Legacy Gravel on Sunday, October 18 in Leuven. South of the city lies a region that has built up a strong gravel reputation in recent years: gently rolling hills, punchy climbs, and characterful gravel lanes form a landscape begging to be explored. Flanders Legacy Gravel is the perfect finale, paying full tribute to the legacy of the 2023 Belgian/European Championships and the 2024 World Championships in this gravel hotspot. The event is also a qualifier for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships, which will take place during the Cycling Super World Championships in the French Alps (Haute-Savoie) from August 24 to September 5.
